Baba Yaga is an old witch from Slovakian lore who kidnaps and eats children who wander into her woods. She lives in a hut that walks around on chicken legs, and flies on a mortar while carrying a pestle.
Relation to Slender Man[]
Like Slender Man, she lives in the woods and kidnaps people, particularly children. Unlike Slender Man, it is known exactly what she does with those children; she eats them.
However, unlike most portrayals of Slender Man, she does sometimes aid the hero of a story if they are pure of heart.
She also appears to be more powerful, having control over the elements.
